World’s End Harem is a Japanese erotic science fiction animated series that premiered its first episode on October 8, 2021. However, it was adapted from manga series which started appearing in Shonen Jump+ magazine on May 8, 2016. The anime was directed by Yu Nobuta and developed by Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. A game was also developed By DMM Games in August 2021 after getting inspired by the manga series.
The story takes place in the year 2040 when technologies have developed enough so that manpower is optional. Automation has impacted people and machines can be used to do work even without the help of humans. Reito Mizuhara, gets diagnosed with cellular sclerosis and seeks medical treatment. Consequently, he is forced to undergo cold sleep for 5 years for a permanent cure.
After 5 years, when Retio wakes up he gets completely cured of cellular sclerosis at the same time the news about the MK virus made him anxious. The infectious disease killed men but not the people who got treatment for cellular sclerosis. Only .5% of men are left in the world at this moment, the future of humanity lies in the hands of these men to increase the world population.

The fifth episode of World’s End Harem is scheduled for release on February 4, 2022, at 9:30 Am JST. The show is aired on Tokyo MX, BS Fuji, and AT-X. The first episode of World’s End Harem was premiered on October 8, 2021, but had a halt for 2 months. The second episode was telecasted on January 14, 2022, and continues its course every Friday. A total of 11 episodes have been scheduled for the season out of which only 3 came out to date. The final episode of the season is expected for streaming by March 18, 2022.

World’s End Harem Episode 4 Recap
The newly formed United Women organization gives consent to wake the third man in cold sleep. His name was Shouta Doi who was bullied in his school life. The story then takes us to the pathetic school life of Doi. He was humiliated by everyone in school and no one even his friend whom he thought would stand beside him hesitated to be with him. In addition to all these, he was diagnosed with cellular sclerosis and the only person he shared everything with was his music teacher.
Doi wakes up after five years and finds everyone who tormented him was dead and was relieved. However, he was shocked to know about the death of the male population as well as took some time to merge into reality. But his father in the cold sleep gave him some hope and satisfaction. United Women (UV) plans to appoint his teacher to enhance his manly desires. Slowly but steadily their relationship becomes sensual as Doi had a crush on his teacher Sensei.

Reito Mizuhara
Reito was a medical student when he was diagnosed with cellular sclerosis. Elisa, whom he had desires for was avoided by him due to the disease but their love for each other made them wait for 5 years. When he is asked to mate with women to increase the world population, he demanded to find Elisa and then think about finding a cure for the disease.
Elisa Tachibana
Elisa who was studying medicine with Reito was in love but never revealed it. Moreover, their childhood friendship stood as a barrier before them. Even though Reito Tells Elisa to never wait for him as he is having a life-threatening disease; she decided to wait till he gets out from the cold sleep.
Mira Suou
Reito was assigned with Mira as an advisor and to tell him what went wrong during his sleep. The United Women knew Elisa was missing so that Mira who has a resemblance to her can keep Reito calm. Mira is a type of character who shows less emotion and works on the commands of UW.
Shota Doi
Doi was a teenager who was always bullied by his colleagues. He was never befriended by anyone from the school, therefore, had hated almost everyone. He was extremely relaxed to know that everyone who bullied him was dead. Doi decides to mate Shunka due to the same mentality they share.
