Naruto and Pain are two characters from an animated series named Naruto. Before going deep into the characters and their storyline it is important to have an understanding of the history of the animated series. Naruto is one of the oldest manga series released in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Its copies were printed from the year 1999 and continued for fifteen years. It was by end of 2002 a production team under the banner of Pierrot Studios started working on an animated show with the same story as that of the manga version. It was considered the first part of the series which ran for 220 episodes in total. Naruto part one was directed by Hayato Date and was telecasted in almost all parts of the world.
Madam Entertainment, VIZ Media as well as Manga Entertainment delivered the series to various networks to be telecasted on television. Major television channels including Cartoon Network aired all the episodes without any halt. After five years a second part was developed under the same sponsors but included more directors and screenwriters in the crew. Moreover, they tried multiple members of the crew but failed to get the desired result after. Altogether from parts one and two combined seven hundred and twenty episodes were aired in total. However by March 13, 2017, Naruto: Shippuden came to an end. In addition, Video games, films, music albums, and novels were created as a part of this and were quite successful.
Naruto Story

Naruto lost his father while fighting for the village from demons. He sacrificed his life for the villages and even kept his son’s life in danger. Naruto like his father wanted to become a ninja and protect the village of Konoha. On the contrary, the people of Konoha didn’t like Naruto very much. Instead, they kept him away from the village fearing he is incapable and disabled. The main reason for this hate was his father’s doing. Before he was killed by the nine-tailed fox, he enchanted magic on the fox which entered his body of Naruto.
All the people knew this and believed that someday he will regain his true form and cause great havoc to the people. He along with his two friends who and similar interests to Naruto joined for physical and weapon training to be stronger. After all the years of training, Naruto finally becomes a ninja and fights various enemies and stands impossible to be defeated. In the end, he also becomes a Hokage like his father and waits for more opportunities to eliminate the enemies.
When Does Naruto Fight Pain?
Naruto and Pain engage in a situation during the second part of the series titled “Naruto: Shippuden”. It is one of the biggest and deadliest fights seen overall in the series. In addition, there are emotional exchanges taking place in the face of their fight. Therefore, it is considered to be the most persuasive moment of the series. A major confrontation between the duos happens between the episodes 150-200 but the intense ones occur betwixt 160-170.

Pain is the leader of the group named Akatsuki who invades the village of Konoha. He killed everyone who stood in his way and destroyed the village completely without showing any mercy. The last to end with the sword of Pain was Kakashi Hatake. However, he couldn’t overcome the brilliance of Naruto after all. Both of them fought hard and were in as if they were equally strong. But ultimately Naruto proved to be the better among them after killing Pain after great effort.
Naruto Characters

Naruto: Junko Takeuchi
He is the main character of the series but is hated by the villagers of Konoha. It is believed that he is so powerful due to the nine-tailed fox trapped inside of his body. Even though people hate him he wanted to protect the village from evil hands.
Sasuke Uchiha: Noriaki Sugiyama
His life became a big tragedy after her brother killed his family. For the sole purpose of this, he gathers as many resources as possible to use them against his brother Itachi Uchiha in the future. Furthermore, Sasuke is an enemy of Naruto but later befriends him.
