Broken Marriage Vow is a Philippine thriller romantic drama developed by BBC Studios and Dreamscape Entertainment. The television series directed by Connie Macatuno along with Andoy Ranay was premiered on January 24, 2022. It is based on a television drama named Doctor Foster written by Mike Bartlett which was telecasted on BBC One. Shot in a single camera, the show has a running time of approximately 22-35 minutes. In the meantime, a total of 14 episodes has already been released as part of the first season.
Broken Marriage Vow is all about a family that faces some problems after some shocking revelations Dr. Jill Ilustre learns considerably. David Ilustre her husband is in an extramarital affair with his co-worker’s daughter. He was doing a housing project in the city of Baguio in the Philippines. However, it was she alone who didn’t know about David’s relationship with Lexy.

Dr. Jill Ilustre finds a strand of blonde hair from her husband David’s pocket. It reminded her of her father cheating on her mom when she was a child. Jill develops a fear of various possibilities which took their relationship in another direction. David understood the heating situation but deals with it erasing all those assumptions. On the other hand, Jill is not at all convinced of David’s stories and decided to conduct a thorough investigation.
She consulted Carol and Sandy however, they also took oath in favor of David. Jill manages to find his relationship with an unknown young girl with the help of her student Diane. On further investigation, she finds it was Lexy David who was in a relationship but kept it within her selves to catch him red-handed. In return for helping Diane get away from her relationship, she hands over some photographs of David and Lexy.

After having these shocking revelations, Jill meets Dr. Sandy who knew everything and asked for the reason to betray her and their relationship. On the contrary, she was willing to break the vow with David. Before taking any harsh decision, she thought about the future of their son. It was then Lexy was rushed into the hospital where Jill finds about her pregnancy. Lexy wanted David to get away with her from Jill and even hides her pregnancy from David. However, David asked her for more time due to a new housing contract received for his company from Lexy’s father.
Lexy feared losing David and decides to abort the baby without even telling David that she was pregnant with him. In the meantime, David heard about the news of Lexy leaving for America and assumed that she was leaving her. As a result, David asks her time until the housing project comes to an end gets separated from Jill once and for all. David promises Lexy to be with her for the rest of his life after Dr. Sandy reveals the news about Lexy’s pregnancy.
