If you are a fan of Naruto, other than your favorite male protagonist, you must have a favorite female protagonist too. Hinata and Sakura, wives of Naruto and Sasuke, the two main protagonists of the story, are often the main topics of debate among Naruto fans as to who is the most powerful among them and who will win the duel if they both ever decide to go against each other, for whatever reason (let’s say something regarding their husband, just kidding). Today, we are going to try to answer this question by looking at who is more powerful by first analyzing their individual strengths and abilities and then comparing them. Who are you betting on? Sakura Vs Hinata?
Naruto is an anime series that sold over 220 million manga copies, winning a handful of awards along the way. An anime that is ranked as one of the most watched series in Japan and is very popular among anime viewers around the world. The series, due to its up-to-par animation, amazing plot and characters, and interesting goals and twists, made its way into the hearts of anime lovers and never left them. Its soundtracks are pretty amazing too, and fans loved them so much that some of them even topped the charts at the time of their release. Being a shounen type anime, it is equally loved and cherished by female viewers too. Even though the show contains a lot of fillers and non-canon episodes and movies, it is equally liked by the fans due to its smooth fight which has very clean animations and moves.
The Japanese Shounen weekly manga, written and drawn by Masashi Kishimoto, served as the inspiration for the Naruto anime. The show was taken up by Studio Pierrot, which is also working on its sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generation. The studio is also famous for popular anime like Bleach. The narrative is based on the experiences of young ninja Naruto Uzumaki.
The series is split into two parts: Naruto, which tells the tale of his early years, and Naruto Shippuden, which chronicles his teenage years. The entire village of Naruto initially despises and fears him. He is essentially the only person in the village, and because of the way he is, he values friendship more than the average person, which causes him to go above and beyond to get his best friend Sasuke back. The Land of Waves arc, the Chunin Exams arc, the Invasion of Konoha arc, the Search for Tsunade, one of the Great Sanin arcs, and the Sasuke Retrieval arc comprised Part 1, and the flow of the arcs was great; it had almost no slow points and the emotion was high. Naruto is a long story and not for people who lack patience.
Naruto Shippuuden is a continuation of the original. Therefore, the concept of the story remains unchanged, but the execution and pacing are different. It follows Naruto as he aspires to become Hokage and, at the same time, tries to bring back his friend, Sasuke, but the story is much more complex than before. Now we have Akatsuki hunting down all the Jinchuuriki and tailed beasts, Sasuke seeking revenge for his clan against Itachi and then Konoha, Naruto’s struggle against the Kyuubi, the nine tails in him, Danzo’s plot to take over Konoha, Naruto’s village, the 4th Great Ninja War, Madara attempting to end the world and so much more. Yeah, the story gets way more complex, but not for the better. Continue reading to know who will win? Sakura Vs Hinata?
Sakura Vs Hinata

During the whole journey, we see Naruto getting stronger and stronger day by day, along with his friends, including our female characters, Sakura and Hinata. According to people worldwide, if Sakura and Hinata get into a fight, it is more likely that Sakura will win because of her immense power, which she got from her training with Tsunade, and her long experience than Hinata. While some of Hinata and Naruto’s fans say that because of her Byakugan and her special powers, Hinata is more likely to win the fight. We will look into this question in more depth after we analyze their strengths and weaknesses in the upcoming article, so keep reading.
They both have excellent control over their chakras and are both quick learners. Hinata, however, possesses a more powerful and advantageous overall ability in this area than does Sakura. Both Hinata and Sakura are skilled Ninjutsu practitioners. It is very difficult to distinguish one from the other while looking at who is a more powerful Ninjutsu practitioner. Sakura has an advantage over Hinata in terms of intelligence simply because her brilliant brain is significantly more advanced than average, giving her an advantage over Hinata in the fight between the two. We elaborate on these points in the upcoming sections and try to give a clearer view of their strengths.
Hence, we can safely infer that if Hinata and Sakura indeed end up fighting each other, Sakura will have the advantage and will win, but with a very small margin, as Hinata is not too weak but weak enough that she doesn’t stand against each other. Some fans might not agree with this and argue that Hinata is more likely to win because of her Kekkei Genkai, Byakugan advantage. But we have explained this point in detail below that even though she has a very big advantage, Sakura is very intelligent and will definitely find a way to dodge her disadvantage, like attacking her blind spot at the back, which is not covered by the field of vision of Byakugan.

Who is Sakura Haruno?

Sakura Haruno is a kunoichi from Konohagakure who later changed her name to Sakura Uchiha after marrying Sasuke Uchiha. In contrast to her teammates, she had a typical childhood and was raised by her parents without any major tragedies or difficulties. “Shannaro” is her catchphrase, for which she is well known. She joins Team 7 after becoming a ninja, where Kakashi Hatake serves as their teacher, along with Naruto and Sasuke. She is Team 7’s sole female ninja. She has grown up psychologically during the time gap; she is now calmer than when she was a genin(first stage of ninja), but she still has a temper, especially when Naruto is being silly in front of her when she will beat him into a bloody pulp.
She is physically weak and has a huge crush on Sasuke when she first meets Naruto. She doesn’t like Naruto either, but over time she starts to look to him as a role model for achieving this goal after being moved by his quick development and his resolve to stand by her and all the people he held dear. She starts treating Naruto better, applauding his successes, and confiding her hopes and fears in him once she realizes that she is being as rude to him as Sasuke usually is to her at his insistence.
Sakura prioritizes catching Sasuke’s attention over all else because she has loved him since she was a young girl. His rejections didn’t stop her because of her initial infatuation with him, which was motivated by his attractive appearance and cool, collected demeanor. She even tries to separate her feelings from him and stop him or kill him when he becomes an international terrorist, but in the end, she fails to do so and ends up with Naruto saving her before Sasuke can attack her back. Even at the end of everything, she hopes to mean something to Sasuke.
Her devotion, however, pays off, and in Boruto: Naruto Next Generation (Naruto Shippuden’s sequel which tells the story of Naruto’s son Boruto and his other friends while all the characters of the Naruto series have grown up and become parents), she ends up marrying him and having a daughter named Sarada Uchiha, with him.

Who is Hinata Hyuga?

A Konohagakure Kunoichi, Hinata Hyuga later wed Naruto Uzumaki and changed her name to Hinata Uzumaki. She once held the title of Hyuga clan heiress, but she was stripped of it after it was determined that she lacked the necessary leadership skills. In spite of this, Hinata persisted and found in Naruto a hero she could imitate. She is Hiashi Hyuga’s eldest daughter. She was picked on by three bullies because of her peculiar eyes on the day she started school at Konoha’s Academy. Despite not knowing her, Naruto jumped to her defense right away, but he was overpowered and knocked out. From that moment on, Hinata began keeping an eye on Naruto, and in doing so, she observed his desire for attention and his struggle to live up to the incredibly low expectations that others had for him.
Hinata was a quiet, courteous child who always addressed people with the appropriate honorifics. She is kind and always puts the needs of others before her own, genuinely caring about their feelings. When she became a ninja, she was assigned to Team 8 with Kiba Inuzuka, his Ninken Akamaru, and Shino Aburame, with Kurenai Yuhi as their teacher and mentor.
She has a great deal of admiration for Naruto for his bravery and, over time, she developed a strong affection for him. This is shown by her growing shyness and inability to speak around him, which became obvious to everyone except, ironically, Naruto. She makes an effort to establish her worth and merit in the eyes of Naruto more than anything else. She willingly faced Pain to protect Naruto, despite knowing she had no chance of winning. She even defends Naruto from himself when he’s in doubt, repeating to him his refusal to ever give up. Two years after the Fourth Great Ninja World War, her love is reciprocated and she marries Naruto and has two children with him, the older son, Boruto Uzumaki, and the younger daughter, Himawari Uzumaki. She remains supportive of him even when he becomes Hokage.

Sakura’s Power

Sakura has a very deep understanding of medical ninjutsu, which she mastered under her master Tsunade, despite the fact that she lacks any special Kekkei Genkai and that her ordinary parents do in fact have a background as upper qualified Ninjas. Sakura is therefore capable of curing even the most severe wounds. She could use her chakra-enhanced fists in combination with her medical ninjutsu to heal the damage caused by her strikes on an enemy with an extremely resistant body, eventually killing the affected cells from over-replication. Sakura is able to put her body in a self-healing state by releasing the Strength of a Hundred Seal, which frees her from the need to take breaks to treat injuries or even be alarmed by them.
The Hundred Seal is another special type of seal which she learned from Tsunade and is one of a kind only known to two of them. Sakura demonstrated her high level of intelligence in the area of intelligence when she successfully completed all of the Chunin exams on her own, including the trickiest questions that were not intended for them. She is a skilled analyst and observer, which she employs to trick the majority of people.
Sakura had the ability to lay traps for any adversary who tried to harm her. After their brief encounter, she was able to quickly and accurately determine Tobi’s special skills. She had better analytical abilities than his Sharingan, in Sasuke’s opinion. She has a great memory and can quickly put together various bits of data she’s previously encountered to create a hypothesis.
Hinata’s Power

Hinata comes from the Hyuga clan, who have a special Kekkei Genkai, Byakugan, a special type of eye (lavender in color) which can see Chakra flow and is regarded as a very important Ninja technique by everyone. Originally she was deemed very weak by her clan’s members and her own father but later with her constant training, she grows stronger each day.
Byakugan is a dojutsu that will give her an advantage over Sakura in the battle by granting her a penetrating vision of nearly 360° around herself, with one blind spot, a small disadvantage, at the back of her neck. With the help of her Byakugan, she can give others more precise attacks, thereby enhancing her own. She can also employ it to locate genjutsu by looking for the caster in the neighborhood.

Hinata has the ability to use her eyes to see, as well as her capacity to heal and treat her friends’ injuries, to properly channel and control the chakra.
Despite not appearing frequently in the series, Hinata is shown to be intelligent. She was able to respond to the majority of the written exam Chunin questions. She advised Shino about Nurari’s strengths and weaknesses following their battle. After that, Shino managed to overpower Nurari. Along with quick thinking, she demonstrated this ability in her battle with Guren by putting a thin layer of chakra on her body to block the Guren technique.
So what do you think about this? Who do you think will indeed win in the fight and why? Let us know in the comment section. If you are still in the middle of the show, you might still give your opinion as the difference between the two can be seen early in the show despite their growth, even in the later series where they grow immensely during the Fourth Ninja World War, where they fight big enemies like Madara and Ten Tail Jinchuriki.
