Being a Disney princess has been a dream for a lot of small girls while growing up, including me. Disney princesses are beautiful, royal, brave, and have a charming prince waiting for them to come to him. One of that beautiful princesses is Rapunzel, who we saw struggling with a bad witch who captured her and hide her in a long tower far far away from everyone with no exit and entrance but a window through which only that Witch can come and go by ordering Rapunzel to lay down her very long, pretty hairs to climb up and down. And later, Rapunzel gets saved by her one and only destined prince charming, Eugene, who tells her about the outer world and helps her escape from the bad witch and tower. Whom later, Rapunzel falls in love and lives happily ever after. Her story might not be inspiring to some, but her long hair was, and obviously, to this date, is, a goal for some of the girls who want their hair to be shiny, gold, and strong just like hers.
Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure, however, does not start dark with all the witchy drama but is rather a happy and colourful animated series set after a 6 month period when she and her boyfriend escape the tower and the witch, and she safely returns home to her parents. For a character who has always been imprisoned and who once had nothing, it is incredibly realistic. The animated series is produced by Disney Television Animation and developed by Shane Prigmore and Chris Sonnenburg. It was the third television series since 1994 to be based on a movie featuring a Disney Princess and was very well received by the viewers.
This series’ animation is excellent, and the colour scheme is very eye-pleasing. Moreover, the music is surprisingly enjoyable and memorable for a television series that you can’t stop humming. Each short story in the series is imaginative and captivating, and it is not only enjoyable for children but also for teenagers and adults. The characters are amusing, and the humour is delightful. It’s a great way to destress.

Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure Season 4 Release Date
It might be heartbreaking to hear that the little girl’s favourite mischief princess won’t be returning back with her prince charming any time soon. The show was cancelled after season 3, declaring it the last and final season. It was not cancelled abruptly or anything, the creators wrapped up the story neatly for the finale and declared the end of it.
The show currently has a rating of 7.6 out of 10 on IMDb. It was a continuation of Disney’s Tangled movie, which is about the hard life of Rapunzel and her escape. Before the start of the series, it was released as a movie named Tangled: Before Ever After on March 10, 2017. A few days later, it was released weekly in 23-minute episodes. The first episode of the first season was released on March 24, 2017, with 21 episodes completed on January 13, 2018.
The series had so many hopes that it was renewed for a second season before even the premiere of the first season on February 15, 2017, which premiered on June 24, 2018, and, with the same number of episodes, ended on April 14, 2019. And just like that. It was renewed for season 3 before season 2’s premiere and will have 17 episodes airing from October 7, 2019, to March 1, 2020.
For the first season, it was named Tangled: The Series, and for the second and third seasons, it was changed to what we know now as Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure. The series had a lot of nominations and won a lot of awards for its engaging story and beautiful animations, and it might sound disappointing to some of you that it was cancelled, but it might be good for it to wrap up the story and not extend it for so long that its viewers get bored of it.

Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure Season 1 to 3 Story
The story of Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure is set after her escape from the witch, Mother Gothel, with her lover, Eugene. She has now safely returned to her parents, King Frederic and Queen Arianna of Corona, and is now Princess Rapunzel. The series unfolds as she gets used to knowing her new place, her people, and most importantly, the love of her parents. However, she finds everything a little difficult due to her constant tight protection from her father, who is afraid considering what has happened before to her.

Wanting to escape all this, she goes out on her “adventure” with Eugene, his horse Maximus, the chameleon Pascal, and her new companion, her handmaiden, Cassandra, who has also become her confidant now. They were wandering around when they discovered some black rock spikes that miraculously repaired Rapunzel’s long blonde hair, which she had previously cut to escape Mother Gothel. Now they are starting their investigation into why this happened. They discover, while seeking solutions, that Rapunzel possesses Sundrop Flower’s power, with the black rocks pointing her in the direction of the Dark Kingdom.
And so, in the second season, we see our little platoon heading towards this Dark Kingdom while exploring the beautiful world that Rapunzel has never seen before and later gaining information about the stone Moonstone Opal. At the end of the season, the group is betrayed by Cassandra, which leaves everyone shocked. This problem and all the misunderstandings are solved in season 3 when Rapunzel finally accepts her role in the kingdom and becomes the queen after defeating Cassandra, who overthrew her parents’ rule while also dealing with the other problems that Cassandra has released. Thus, completing the beautiful story of Rapunzel, who lives happily ever after and rules her kingdom.
Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure Season 4 Story
Though the show has been cancelled for the subsequent season, there is no harm in predicting its story further. The original script was based on Tangled by Dan Fogelman. At the end of season 3, we saw Rapunzel becoming the queen of her kingdom after defeating Cassandra, her handmaid who betrayed her in the second season.
In the new season, we can expect a happy introduction where Rapunzel has successfully managed her kingdom. We might get introduced to some new villain who will add mystery and suspense to the story, and in the rest of the episodes, we might get to see the reunion of the old platoon of Rapunzel while they go out trying to figure out how to defeat the main villain. We also might get to see Rapunzel’s wedding with her prince and boyfriend, Eugene.

A lot of interesting characters appeared in the previous season of Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure. If the story goes as predicted, then we might get a new villain, a new character, and the old cast who have reprised their roles since the first Tangled movie. Rapunzel, voiced by Mandy Moore
The protagonist of the story is Rapunzel, who, as a child, was abducted by a witch but was later saved by her lover. She is a princess and has very long hair that magically regrows after she cuts it while escaping the witch.
Eugene, voiced by Zachary Levi
Formerly known as Flynn Rider, Eugene is Rapunzel’s love interest and was previously a thief. He saved Rapunzel from her misery and helped her get back to her parents and kingdom.
Cassandra, voiced by Eden Espinosa
Previously introduced as Rapunzel’s trustworthy maid, Cassandra is later revealed to be the main villain and the biological daughter of Mother Gother, the witch who captured Rapunzel. She betrays her when she learns the truth.
Other main characters that were there in previous seasons were Pascal and Maximus, voiced by Dee Bradley Baker; King Frederic, voiced by Clancy Brown; and Queen Arianna, voiced by Julie Bowen.
