When this action-adventure historical drama fiction was first released no one would have estimated its success in the future. Golden Kamuy Season 4 Release Date
before diving into the details YES! the authorities announced that there is going to be the fourth season for Golden Kamuy. The reasons for its continuation are pretty obvious. One, it earned good and had great ratings ( 4.7/5 on Crunchyroll ratings and 8.0/10 ratings on IMDB). Second, there is enough content. considering that the manga has come to an end, the series still has a lot to animate on. there are a total of 29 volumes out of which only 20 have been covered till Season 3. This means that the production house has 9 volumes still to work and develop the story on, almost enough for two more seasons or a season and movie.
The teaser to Season 4 Golden Kamuy dropped on 27th March 2022 and is likely to be aired between 1-15th October of this year. This is possibly the best gift for all Golden Kamuy fans. This anime hasn’t failed in either the rate of production of the content or the rate of manga for that matter. it is indeed an all-rounder anime.

Slight changes are to be expected. It was announced that Season four will release under a new chief director and production house. The new production house is Brain’s Base, also famous for other works like School Babysitters, In/Spectre, Duel Masters, and To Your Eternity, the previous production house being Geno. The new chief director will be Shizutaka Sugahara replacing Hitoshi Noboru as chief director. Takumi Yamakawa takes over the position of character designer.

Golden Kamuy Recap
The concept of the story will remind you a lot of One Piece for a minute, the whole getting the treasure thing. However, this is where this anime excels, once you watch it you realize it’s not just one theme or concept but an amalgamation of a whole bunch of them.
The major story is about Sugimoto, who accidentally stumbles upon a drunken man who forces him into listening to his story about ‘Lost Gold’. The story goes like this – There once was a man who murdered a group of Ainu and stole their gold. Before the police had the chance to confiscate the treasure, the man hid it somewhere in Hokkaido with the exact location still unknown. It is believed that the only way to get to the gold is through the map that he imprinted on his cellmates’ backs for a share in the gold. Obviously, this isn’t taken seriously by anyone and Sugimoto was no exception. He goes on with his day but then just how randomly he had met the mysterious drunken man, just that randomly he saw him die at the hands of a bear with the map imprinted on his back. This is when Sugimoto takes things seriously and using his powerful battle skills, goes on a venture to find the missing or hidden gold.
The story is not limited to a mindless battle to find the gold, but rather a mixture of various character stories. Sugimoto is saved by an Ainu girl called Asirpa. Both pair together on the venture to find the lost gold.
Golden Kamuy Season 4 Trailer
The teaser trailer speculated that the anime will be released in October of this year. The trailer itself gave us goosebumps; we can only imagine how intense the series Season 4 is going to be.
