Gin Tama Story

Gintama

The series is based on some incidents that occurred in the country of Japan a long way back in the early time of its democratic establishment. They were more open-minded towards other countries and as a result restricted them from entering Japan. At that time it was none other than the Samurai who were strong in the subcontinent and were considered an integral part. Despite the warning issued by the Japanese imperial ruler many countries started to get into Japan to conquer the land and to make them all colonies. This is the central theme of the series but the stories, as well as the events, are not set on realistic characteristics. In the fictional background of storytelling, it is some aliens who attack the earth in search of dictatorship and to make the people living in the world their slaves.

The old Japan was capable enough to keep these visitors at bay but the current scenario was quite different. People lost their skills to fight and win a battle like their former used to do. However, this was not the case for everyone living at that time. Gintoki was a kind of person who could have been compared to the character traits of those Samurais. He develops a group to work against the aliens and deny all the commands they make to humans. Nevertheless, this action from Gintoki and their group was not satisfactory. They had to change their tactics over and over again to match the intelligence and supremacy put forward by the invaders.
