Demon Slayer is also known by the name Kimetsu no Yaiba is an adventurous dark fantasy television animated series. The anime directed by Haruo Sottozaki was premiered on April 6, 2019. It was adapted from Japanese manga series written by Koyoharu Gotouge which was published by Shueisha in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 15, 2016. In addition, they have released an animated film in 2020 and a video game in 2021. They have also announced another video game but the date is yet to be confirmed. However, the television series developed by Ufotable has already released 44 episodes to date.
The story is all about a boy named Tanjiro Kamado who is the one and the only hope of his family after his father’s death. He worked very hard despite living the life he wanted. Tanjiro sold charcoal to nearby villages to take of his family. It was shocking for him when he came after a trip to see his family killed by a demon leaving his sister alive. But soon his sister Nezuko began to transform alike a demon. He raged in anger and trained under Master Sakonji Urokodaki to be a demon slayer. But to succeed he need to go through massive pressure however, the burning fire inside him to make his sister back to normal strengthens him more.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 12 Release Date
The twelfth episode of Demon Slayer season 3 is expected to be out by March 2023. The second season came to an end by February 13, 2022, and an announcement is made regarding the third season. However, an official confirmation about the date of its release is not made. By the nature of previous premiers, there are speculations on January 2023 being the date of the new season. Season 1 and 2 of Demon Slayer released on April 6, 2019, and October 10, 2021, respectively, can be currently streamed online on Funimation and Hulu.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Story
Tanjiro Kamado is a generous and wise boy who is forced to look after his family after the demise of his father. But he faces a threat from a demon named Muzan Kibutsuji who kills his parents and infects his sister Nezuko to become a demon. Tanjiro’s transformation starts from there into a demon slayer. With the help of Giyu Tomioka, Tanjiro trains under Master Sakonji Urokodaki and gets selected for the position of Demon Slayer Corps. The exam was to select the best slayers only a few were selected. While on a mission he came head to head with Muzan Kibutsuji, the demon who killed his family. But, killing the demon was not at all easy; therefore, he asked the help of Tamayo who was a demon who just parted ways with Muzan.

Tanjiro later teamed up with Hashira and fights a massive number of demons. It was then Muzan finds out that Nezuko is healthy to sunlight which was an ability demon lacked. Mazun finds that extremely mysterious and consequently leads to a rivalry between the two. The Demon Slayer Corps started training to restrict Mazun from a probable attack. Tamayo on the other hand develops a cure for Nezuko while a battle occurs between Mazun and corps. Trapped in the sun Mazun dies transferring his powers to Tanjiro who starts to fight the rest of the Corps. Nezuko who recovers helps to regain his human form again leaving no more demons left in the world.

Tanjiro Kamado: Natsuki Haanae
Tanjiro Kamado is an intelligent boy who became a demon slayer in the television series. His family was killed by a demon named Muzan Kibutsuji while he was not at home leaving his sister Nezuko possessed by the demon. She turned into a demon but still had things under control. Tanjiro wanted to take revenge on that demon, therefore, started training on becoming the demon slayer and secedes in it. Consequently, he turned into a demon but after regaining his normal form he lost his right eyesight.
Nezuko Kamado: Akari Kito
After the attack from Muzan Kibutsuji, Nezuko turned into a demon. On the other hand, she was not completely transformed into a demon but still had all human emotions. After getting hypnotized, she finally gains the capability to control her powers and always helps Tanjiro to fight other demons. However, she suffers a memory loss after the attack but Tanjiro’s care towards her keeps her bonded with humans.

The official trailer of Demon Slayer was released on February 15, 2019. Demon Slayer is telecasted on Fuji TV, KTV, GTV, BS11, Tokyo MX, and GYT every Sunday at 12:45 am JST and 9:15 pm IST. Toonami holds the broadcasting rights to screen it in the United States while Madam Entertainment broadcasts across Australia.
