Alice and Zouroku is a coming-of-age anime with a blend of mystery, adventure, and drama. The same-named Japanese manga by Tetsuya Imai, which started serialization in October 2012 and is still in production, served as the inspiration for this Seinen adaptation. The anime was directed by Sakurabi Katsushi and produced by J.C. Staff, which is also the home of shows like “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.” The first episode of the anime, aired from April 2 through June 25 of the same year, lasted 44 minutes in length and was followed by 11 other episodes that were each 23 minutes long, making it a total of 12 episode-length anime.
The Alice and Zouroku project is a meticulously manufactured project at its core. It is composed with precision, molded like its peers, enhanced by the advantages of modern technology, and engineered for mass production. From the very beginning to the very end, the mystery elements of this show kept the viewers on the edge of their seats.
In essence, the show was released to become popular, which it did. Every character, every song, every breathtaking battle, and every touching scene served the cause well. Even the most glaring of its errors—the laughably bad CGI (it was not at all liked by the viewers)—helped the program by encouraging discussions about it as a whole.
Alice and Zouroku Season 2 Release Date
There are currently 9 volumes of the manga in print, along with 2 spin-off stories. If J.C. Staff ever decides to pick up the following season, there is enough manga material left over from season 1 to fill it. Therefore, a shortage of content is not a challenge for the upcoming season.
Even critics and viewers thought highly of it because they liked the way the story was told. It even managed to amass a total score of 7.10 on MyAnimeList from 45,994 users, which is quite deplorable for a mysterious show. The story has maintained viewers’ interest, and despite the author’s best efforts, they keep asking for another season. That indicates that the second season of Alie and Zouroku won’t worry about the show’s popularity if it gets adopted.
Keeping in mind all this, we can expect to hear positive news by the end of this year if it does not get canceled.

Alice and Zouroku Season 2 Story

The plot of the anime centers on a group of young girls who are being used as test subjects because of their special abilities, called “Alice’s Dream”. Sana is one such young woman. These women have the power to turn abstract ideas into concrete reality. The main draw of the story is the older male protagonist, an abrasive man named Zouroku. When Sana eventually succeeds in breaking out of the “prison,” she meets Zouroku.
Sana and Zouroku’s adventure will continue in Season 2, and it may answer questions like, “Will Sana be able to live a happy and free life free from all those monsters who kept her locked just because she had special power?” Will the relationship between Sana and Zouroku succeed or fail? There are a lot of unanswered questions that we anticipate in the upcoming season.
